Muhsin Al-Ramli

Muhsin Al-Ramli nasceu em 1967, numa aldeia do norte do Iraque. É romancista, poeta, dramaturgo, académico e tradutor. Traduziu vários clássicos da literatura espanhola para árabe, de entre os quais se destaca Don Quixote de la Mancha.
O romance Os Jardins do Presidente entrou na longlist do International Prize for Arabic Fiction, conhecido como o «Booker árabe».
Vive em Madrid desde 1995.
