Mike Barfield é um autor, poeta e premiado cartunista.
Vive e Helperby, uma vila a norte de York, Inglaterra.
É formado em Biologia pelo King’s College mas, apesar do seu gosto pela ciência, decidiu investir numa carreira como escritor de comédia. Desde então que escreveu para inúmeros programs de rádio e TV.
Durante cinco anos escreveu para o lendário Quem Quer Ser Milionário?, bem como outros concursos televisivos.
