Formado em Arquitetura, trabalhou durante vários anos na área do Marketing até largar tudo para se dedicar ao projeto Tuga na Cozinha. Criado em 2020 durante a pandemia da COVID-19, o canal de YouTube reúne atualmente mais de 150 mil subscritores. No Instagram, são 200 mil. Com centenas de receitas de entradas, pratos principais e sobremesas, Miguel privilegia a cozinha típica portuguesa. Ocasionalmente, convida personalidades para cozinhar, sejam chefs profissionais, pasteleiros ou simples apaixonados por cozinha como ele.
