Miguel Soares de Albergaria é autor do ensaio Condições do Atraso do Povo Português nos Últimos Dois Séculos; de alguns artigos publicados em revistas multidisciplinares – entre os quais uma trilogia sobre a condição civilizacional do Ocidente – de outros artigos em publicações especializadas em filosofia; e do texto dramático as Cinco Batalhas de Coimbra.

Escreve regularmente sobre ciência, tecnologia e sociedade nos jornais Ciência Hoje (desde 2014) e Correio dos Açores; tem publicado pontualmente textos de opinião sobre questões políticas. Mantém o blogue Aberturas. Nasceu em 1963, vive em Ponta Delgada.
