Miguel Esteves Cardoso (MEC) nasceu em Lisboa, em 1955, e quis ser escritor desde que se lembra de ler. Tem duas filhas, Sara e Tristana Esteves Cardoso, e um casamento muito feliz com Maria João Esteves Cardoso. Autor de uma obra que abarca todos os géneros, MEC foi o primeiro influenciador do país, mesmo antes de se falar em influenciadores. Há quatro décadas que traça o mais original e belo retrato de um dos mais antigos países do mundo, chamado Portugal.
