Miguel Ángel Martín

Miguel Ángel Martín nasceu em 1960 em Léon, Espanha.
É um dos mais conceituados autores de banda desenhada espanhóis, ganhador do Prémio Yellow Kid de melhor autor estrangeiro (Roma, 1999), considerado o Óscar das histórias aos quadradinhos. O seu estilo em linha clara, limpo e elegante contrasta com a dureza dos seus argumentos, dotados de um de humor ácido. Em Espanha, tornou-se conhecido quando, em 1992, ganhou o Prémio Autor Revelação na Feira Internacional de Comics de Barcelona. Entre outros prémios, conta no seu palmarés com o Grande Prémio «Attilio Micheluzzi» [Comicon Nápoles 2003], o álbum Brian the Brain foi considerado o melhor livro do ano em 2007 pelos leitores do jornal italiano La Repubblica e em 2017 o Festival Romiccs de Roma escolheu Total OverFuck como a melhor bd europeia. Outros livros publicados do autor pela Escorpião Azul: Bug [2017] Neuro Habitat [2018] The Space Between [2019].
