Miguel Ángel Curiel

Nasceu em Korbach Valdeck, Alemanha, 31 de março de 1966, poeta espanhol. A sua família vem do Norte da Estremadura, estabelecendo-se no final dos anos sessenta em Talavera de la Reina. No ano 2000 ganha a menção honrosa do prémio Adonais com o livro EL VERANO. Desde então a sua obra poética afasta-se definitivamente das tendências poéticas mais dominantes e vigentes, até desenvolver uma voz original e incomum na poesia espanhola atual. Miguel Ángel Curiel foi bolseiro da Academia da Espanha em Roma (Beca Valle Inclán para escritores) entre 2009 e 2010. É durante esse período que começa a escrever as LUMINÁRIAS, diários poéticos em construção. Entre os seus livros destacam-se EL AGUA, (poesia 2002-2012) finalista do prémio nacional de poesia 2013. ASTILLAS, Calambur, Madrid, 2015. EL NADADOR, 2016, finalista do Prémio Nacional de Poesia 2017. JARAÍZ, 2018, finalista do Prémio da Crítica 2019.
