Michele Reynolds Quintião nasceu em Lourenço Marques, Moçambique, em outubro de 1970. Veio para Portugal no fim dos anos 70. Mais tarde, no fim do seu percurso académico, trabalhou num jornal e posteriormente, dedicou-se à área comercial.
Numa altura de grande mudança na sua vida, começou a utilizar a escrita como um escape, dando origem ao romance policial Numeradas. Sempre se revelou uma pessoa criativa, com sentido de humor e com gosto pela escrita, Como costuma dizer «Os livros permitem-nos voar, nas asas de uma página, sonhar acordados, viver intensamente sentimentos que nos emprestam, e que ficam nossos para sempre.»
