Nasceu em 1944.
Psicanalista, antigo director de música no Ministério da Cultura, mas também escritor, tem várias obras publicadas nas mais diversas áreas, entre elas , na literatura; Glenn Gould, Musiques de nuit, na música e Blessurs de mémoire, Voleurs de mots, na psicanálise.
É autor de duas obras de ficção: Bleu passe e Je crains de lui parler la nuit. Com a obra Marilyn, Últimas sessões obteve o Prémio Interallie 2006.
