Michael Wallner

Michael Wallner nasceu em 1958 em Graz, na Áustria. Estudou Encenação e Representação no prestigiado Max Reinhardt Seminar, em Viena, tendo posteriormente trabalhado como actor de teatro no Burgtheater de Viena e no Schillertheater de Berlim. Foi também encenador de ópera e teatro, e em 1994 recebeu o prémio Kainz, atribuído pelo município de Viena, pela sua encenação da peça Krieg, de Rainald Goetz. É autor dos romances Cliehms Begabung (2000) e Finale (2003), e divide presentemente o seu tempo entre Berlim e a Itália.
