Michael Stuermer

Michael Stuermer, nascido na Alemanha, é professor de História da Idade Média e da Idade Moderna na Universidade de Erlangen-Nuremberga e professor convidado em universidades tão prestigiadas como Harvard, Princeton ou a Sorbonne. Foi conselheiro político do chanceler Helmut Kohl na década de 80 e tem dedicado os últimos anos ao jornalismo como correspondente-chefe para o jornal Die Welt. É autor de uma série de livros (cerca de 25) sobre diversas temáticas, entre as quais a Europa e o Médio Oriente.
