Michaël Ferrier

Michaël Ferrier lives in Tokyo. He is a professor of French Literature at Chuô University and contributes to magazines. Art Press, L'Infini and New French ReviewHis work, marked by reflections on otherness, addresses the boundaries between cultural universes, notably between Japanese and Western culture. He is the author of the novels... Tokyo, small portraits of dawn (2004) and Sympathy for the ghost (2010), and the essay Japan: the barrier of encounters (2009), among other titles.
