Michael D. Watkins

Michael D. Watkins é professor de Liderança e Mudança Organizacional e um dos maiores especialistas mundiais em transições de liderança. Autor do bestseller Os Primeiros 90 Dias (The First 90 Days), Watkins tem ajudado líderes a navegar os desafios de novas funções, construir equipas eficazes e transformar organizações ao longo das últimas duas décadas. Em 2023, foi reconhecido no Hall of Fame da Administração Thinkers50, destacando-se pelas suas contribuições duradouras para a gestão e liderança.
Foi professor na Harvard Business School e no INSEAD e leciona atualmente no IMD, onde dirige programas de liderança como o «First 90 Days» e o «Transition to Business Leadership». É também cofundador da consultora Genesis Advisors, onde aplica a metodologia First 90 Days® para orientar líderes em novas funções.
É autor de mais de quinze obras e centenas de artigos em publicações prestigiadas, como a Harvard Business Review e a MIT Sloan Management Review, onde o seu artigo «The Future of Team Leadership is Multimodal» foi o mais lido de 2021.
