Melina Galete é doutoranda em Literatura pela Universidade de Évora, Portugal. Concluiu o Mestrado em Línguas, Literaturas e Culturas, com dissertação sobre a obra de José Eduardo Agualusa, na Universidade de Aveiro, em 2015. Licenciou-se em Letras - Português/Literaturas pela Universidade Federal Fluminense, em 2013. Escreve para o blogue Livro-Me(u). 'Da verdadeira Índia' é o seu romance de estreia.
