Maynara Fanucci nasceu em 1991 em Bragança Paulista, interior do estado de São Paulo. Formada em Rádio e Televisão pela Faculdade Cásper Líbero, trabalhou na área do audiovisual e jornalismo até que decidiu criar o projeto Empodere Duas Mulheres para falar de feminismo e empoderamento. Tem uma página no Facebook, um site e um perfil no Instagram onde discute questões de empoderamento feminino e assuntos relacionados com a vida das mulheres, tendo atingido mais de um milhão de seguidores. Foi oradora no TEDx Blumenau (Brasil), é colunista do HuffPost Brasil e vive em Inglaterra. Empodere-se é o seu primeiro livro.
