Maya Hanisch

Estudou design gráfico na Universidade Diego Portales de Santiago do Chile e ilustração na SMFA (School of the Museum of Fine Arts) de Boston. Desde 2008 que já publicou vários livros infantis em editoras de diversos países. Para além de se dedicar à ilustração infantil, também trabalha em publicidade e na imprensa; deu aulas de ilustração na Universidade Pontifícia do Chile e no Museu de Belas-Artes do seu país. Pertence ao coletivo Minga Ilustradoras, com o qual já participou em várias exposições. Recebeu o Prémio Fondo de Fomento a la Lectura 2008 e o Prémio Nami Island 2015.
