Maya Gabeira

Maya Gabeira é uma surfista brasileira de ondas grandes, também conhecida por, em 2018, ter estabelecido o recorde mundial do Guinness pela maior onda surfada por uma mulher, marca que ela própria bateria dois anos depois, surfando uma com 22,4 metros – a maior onda surfada por qualquer pessoa, homem ou mulher, nesse ano. Detentora do prémio Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly e sete vezes vencedora do prémio World Surf League Big Wave, Maya é uma das surfistas mais influentes de todos os tempos. Ela é também uma ativista profundamente comprometida com a Natureza e uma defensora incansável dos oceanos.
