Mauro Giuseppe Lepori (Lugano, Suíça, 1959), é monge cisterciense e, eleito em 2010 Abade-Geral da Ordem de Cister, vive em Roma. Licenciou-se em Filosofia e Teologia pela Universidade Católica de Friburgo. Em 1984, ingressou na abadia de Hauterive (Suíça), e dez anos depois, foi eleito abade no mesmo mosteiro. Pregador e mestre de espiritualidade, padre Lepori é também autor de vários livros, entre os quais Simão chamado Pedro, traduzido para cerca de dez idiomas, e agora, pela primeira vez, publicado em língua portuguesa.
