Maurice Nadeau

Maurice Nadeau foi um escritor francês nascido a 21 de maio de 1911. Militante do Partido Comunista Francês, expulso desse mesmo círculo, frequentador da aventura surrealista dos primeiros longos anos, foi o autor de História do Surrealismo (1945) – obra odiada por André Breton, como não poderia deixar de ser, mas um primeiro esforço curioso para tentar entender esse movimento artístico tão importante e tão caro a essa e às gerações futuras.
