Matyáš Namai estudou design gráfico na escola secundária Škola Michael e, desde então, concentrou-se na banda desenhada. As suas novelas gráficas de destacam-se pelo trabalho sensível que desenvolve no que toca à psicologia das suas personagens, pelo sentido cinematográfico da edição dramática e pelo gosto que tem pelos detalhes.
