Matías Castro

Matías Castro, Montevideu, 1976. É jornalista e autor de vários livros de pesquisa, é também diretor do Montevideu Comics. Escreveu um livro sobre Dionisio Diaz, o menino herói do Golden Creek, outro sobre jogos tradicionais e também um que conta como os uruguaios chegaram à Antártida. Além de Bernardina em direção à tempestade (sobre uma família no meio do êxodo de 1811). Em 2018 foi homenageado nos Prémios Nacionais de Literatura com sua obra A Estranha e (até agora) curta vida de Caterina Hernández Anhalt, contada por Clara Limón.
