Massimo Osanna (1963) é professor titular de arqueologia clássica na Universidade Federico II de Nápoles, depois de ter passado pela Universidade de Basilicata, onde dirigiu a Escola de Especialização em Património Arqueológico. Foi professor visitante em prestigiadas universidades europeias e promoveu escavações e pesquisas no Sul da Itália (em Pompeia, nomeadamente), Grécia e França. Dirige o Parque Arqueológico de Pompeia desde 2014.
