Marta Curto nasceu em 1978, tirou o curso de Comunicação e começou a trabalhar como jornalista aos 21 anos. Em 2002 recebeu o prémio Gazeta Revelação, pelo Clube de Jornalistas. Fez carreira como free lancer tendo trabalhado para revistas como a Pública, Grande Reportagem e DNA. Foi jornalista da revista TABU, do semanário SOL. Colabora também para o Plus News, site integrado na rede de informações da ONU dedicado a artigos sobre a prevenção e tratamento de HIV.
