Marisa Silva

Marisa Silva Gomes was born in 1980 in Santa Maria da Feira. She graduated in 2006 with a degree in Sports Science from the Faculty of Sports at the University of Porto, specializing in High Performance - Football (finishing her thesis, "From the Foot as Technique to the Technical Thinking of the Foot within the Black Box of Tactical Periodization," with a grade of 19 out of 20).
Currently, she is attending the Neurophysiology course at the Porto School of Health Technology.
In addition to this training, she was the coordinator of the Dragon School at Futebol Clube do Porto for four seasons. In the 2005/2006 season, she was an assistant coach in the youth categories at Futebol Clube do Porto. In the 2006/2007 and current seasons, 2007/2008, she is an assistant coach in the under-13 youth categories at Futebol Clube do Porto. Previously, she coached a senior women's futsal team, which was runner-up in the 2004/2005 season and won the district championship, cup, and Aveiro Super Cup in the 2005/2006 season. As a futsal player, she was a district champion in the 2006/2007 season.
She holds a Level I Futsal Coaching Certificate and a Level II UEFA Football Coaching Certificate from the Porto Football Association.
