Marisa Luciana Alves nasceu em Vinhais, em 1976, e é professora desde 1999. Sempre acreditou no poder das palavras para ensinar, emocionar e transformar, sobretudo junto dos mais novos.
Ao longo dos anos, tem conciliado a educação com a escrita, criando histórias que convidam à reflexão e ao cuidado. Dinamiza também oficinas de Escrita Criativa para jovens.
Autora de vários livros, destacou-se em 2014 ao vencer o 3.º Concurso Literário "Receitas Secretas". Em 2024, publicou o romance A Curadora, revelando uma vertente mais intimista da sua escrita.
Com Palrador, o papagaio corajoso (2026), regressa à literatura infantil com uma história sensível sobre amizade, cuidado e esperança.
