Mário Alberto Nunes Costa

Mário Alberto Nunes Costa nasceu em Estremoz a 15 de agosto de 1920 e faleceu na Amadora a 15 de fevereiro de 2010. Ao longo da sua vida, desenvolveu uma relevante ação como arquivista e bibliotecário, tendo introduzido em Portugal as técnicas arquivísticas e documentais inovadoras de Theodore R. Schellenberg. Deixou também um importante conjunto de textos publicados sobre esta temática e ainda diversos estudos documentais de relevo, incluindo este que agora se reedita sobre as Memórias Paroquiais de 1758 relativas ao concelho de Estremoz.
