Marie Bretin nasceu na região de Paris. Depois de estudar Artes Aplicadas em Paris e Toulouse, em 2014 realizou o sonho de infância e tornou-se ilustradora. As suas ilustrações doces e coloridas são o resultado de uma grande dedicação ao estudo da palete de cores antes de embarcar em cada projeto. Orgulha-se de trabalhar para várias editoras infantojuvenis e de se ter aventurado na criação de padrões para roupas infantis. É uma recém-mamã com um novo olhar, bem ternurento, sobre o universo dos mais pequenos
