Mariana Salomão Carrara é paulistana, escritora e Defensora Pública, nascida em 1986. É autora dos romances "Se deus me chamar não vou" (entre os 10 finalistas ao Prémio Jabuti 2020), "É sempre a hora da nossa morte amém" (finalista do Prémio São Paulo 2022 e entre os 10 finalistas ao Jabuti 2022), "Não fossem as sílabas do sábado" (vencedor do Prémio São Paulo 2023) e "A árvore mais sozinha do mundo", publicado em 2024. Em 2025, lançou o infantil Sabor Paciência.
