Maria Odília Pereira de Sousa

Maria Odília Pereira de Sousa nasceu na Lombada da Ponta do Sol, no ano de 1961.
Licenciada em Línguas e Literaturas Modernas (variante de Estudos Portugueses e Franceses) pela Universidade de Lisboa, fez o Mestrado em Humanidades (Literatura Portuguesa Moderna e Contemporânea) pela Universidade Católica Portuguesa, em 2003, na extensão do Funchal.
Trabalhou no Banco Borges & Irmão e no Banco BPI.
É Professora na Escola Básica e Secundária Padre Manuel Álvares.
Membro Fundador do Grupo de Folclore de Ponta do Sol, com o qual colabora pontualmente.
