Professora Adjunta na Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril (ESHTE). Integra as equipas de coordenação do curso de licenciatura em Informação Turística e das pós-graduações em Turismo Literário e Turismo Cultural.
Doutorada, desenvolve investigação nas áreas de Museologia, Património Cultural e Turismo Cultural e Literário. Colabora com redes e projetos internacionais, nomeadamente com a Rede Entremeio da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. É investigadora integrada no Instituto de História Contemporânea da Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas (FCSH) da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa e investigadora colaboradora no CIAC da Universidade do Algarve e no Grupo de Investigação em Literatura e Turismo: Lit&Tour. É ainda investigadora colaboradora no Centro de Investigação, Desenvolvimento e Inovação em Turismo (CiTUR – Polo Estoril).
