Maria Luísa Santos

Maria Luísa Santos nasceu e vive na cidade de Gaia. Licenciada em História, mestre em Administração Escolar e doutorada em Ciência da Educação foi professora no 2o ciclo e no Ensino Superior onde desempenhou funções de direção e coordenação.
Depois de aposentada dedicou-se à pintura e principalmente à escrita. É autora de um livro de poemas, Casa Mundo (2012), três títulos infantojuvenis, Contos Para Pensar (2013); Se Eu Fosse (2018) e Uma Lagarta na Magrafalândia (2021), dois livros de contos, Contos (2019) e Quando o futuro vier será presente (2022). É com o romance Eu Solidão que vence a segunda edição do Prémio Literário Joaquim Mestre 2019.
