Maria Laurinda Silvestre

Maria Laurinda Silvestre, nascida em 21 de junho de 1947, em Lisboa, é formada em Serviço Social pelo Instituto Superior do Mitelo e pós-graduada em Administração Social.
Iniciou a sua carreira em 1980 no Centro Social Paroquial de S. Vicente de Paulo, onde trabalhou durante 18 anos. Posteriormente, colaborou com a Associação Infantil de Santo António e outros centros sociais.
Foi palestrante em diversas conferências e orientou estágios de alunos de várias instituições de ensino, como o Instituto Superior de Serviço Social, a Universidade Católica e a Faculdade de Medicina.
Publica agora a sua obra Viúvas da Guerra do Ultramar, com a Oficina da Escrita.
