Maria José Rijo

Maria José Rijo é licenciada em Filosofia pela Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Foi professora do ensino secundário durante vários anos, tempo em que continuou a aprofundar os seus interesses nos campos das espiritualidades e da mística, e das suas relações com o pensamento filosófico.
Na Câmara Municipal de Oeiras, continuou a desenvolver projectos no domínio da Filosofia, nomeadamente a Filosofia para Crianças, iniciativa que implementou nessa autarquia. Hoje, exerce funções na Livraria-Galeria Verney na área das artes e da cultura.
