María José Ferrada (Temuco, Chile, 1977). Jornalista e escritora. Conta com uma extensa obra para o público infantil reconhecida com o Prémio Iberoamericano SM de Literatura Infantil e Juvenil 2021. A sua primeira novela para adultos, Kramp (Emecé, 2017), foi traduzida para onze idiomas, e recebeu o Prémio do Círculo de Críticos de Arte, o Prémio Melhores Obras Literárias do Ministério das Culturas, das Artes e do Património e o Prémio Municipal de Literatura de Santiago. A sua segunda novela, El hombre del cartel (Alquimia, 2021) recebeu o Prémio do Círculo de Críticos de Arte.
