Maria João Reynaud

Nasceu no Porto. Licenciou-se em Filologia Romântica e doutorou-se em Literatura Portuguesa com uma dissertação sobre as três versões de "Húmus", de Raul Brandão. Actualmente, é Professora Associada da Faculdade de Letras do Porto, onde lecciona a cadeira de Literatura Portuguesa (séculos XIX e XX) e orienta seminários de Poesia Portuguesa Contemporânea (Cursos de Mestrado e Pós-Graduação).
Nas áreas do ensaísmo e da crítica tem publicado estudos e artigos sobre narrativa, poesia e teatro em revistas nacionais e estrangeiras. Dirige a edição de "Obras de Jacinto do Prado Coelho" (Campo das Letras, Porto).
Tem publicado os seguintes títulos: "Ana e o Arco-Íris" (literatura infantil, 1985, 2003 - 2.ª ed.), "Metamorfoses da Escrita" (ensaio, 2000, Prémio PEN Clube de Ensaio), "Húmus", de Raul Brandão (edição crítica, 3 volumes, 2000), "Fernando Echevarría - Enigma e transparência" (ensaio, 2001) e "Luz de Intimidade" (poesia, 2004).
