Isabel Ferreira é natural de Vale de Cambra, onde cresceu e viveu até ingressar no ensino superior em Lisboa.

É licenciada em Ortóptica pela Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde de Lisboa e Mestre em Gestão das Organizações, com especialização em Unidades de Saúde, pela Escola Superior de Saúde do Porto.

Desde 2016, exerce as funções de Técnica Superior de Diagnóstico e Terapêutica (Ortoptista) no Hospital Pedro Hispano, Unidade Local de Saúde de Matosinhos, a quem o dedica.
