Maria Francisca Gama nasceu em Leiria em 1997.
Formou-se em Direito pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa e, mais tarde, estudou Rádio, Televisão e Escrita para meios audiovisuais.
É autora d’A Profeta, publicado em 2022, e d’A Cicatriz, publicado em 2024, ambos pela Suma de Letras, chancela da Penguin Random House.
