Maria Cristina Pimenta

Maria Cristina Pimenta nasceu no Porto no ano de 1962. Doutorada em História pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto, em 1999, especializou-se em História Medieval de Portugal, com destaque para a História das Ordens Militares. Foi Professora Associada da Universidade Portucalense até ao ano de 2004 e Professora Auxiliar convidada da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto (2001-2002).
Membro da Linha de Estudos Medievais e do Renascimento (Unidade I&D - FCT), do Centro de Estudos da População, Economia e Sociedade (CEPESE) do Porto.
