Maria Cardeira da Silva

Maria Cardeira da Silva é uma antropóloga especialmente interessada em antropologia do património e do turismo, Islão e configurações de género. Fez trabalho de campo em Marrocos, na Mauritânia e no sul de Portugal, e incursões mais breves no Brasil e no Senegal. É professora associada na NOVA FCSH e investigadora do CRIA — Centro de Investigação em Antropologia. Coordenou vários projetos de investigação nacionais e internacionais nas áreas do património e da sua interseção com o turismo, comissariou exposições, orientou diferentes teses e publicou vários artigos e livros, entre os quais Castelos a Bombordo: Etnografias de Patrimónios Africanos e Memórias Portuguesas (2013, Etnográfica Press/CRIA).
