Maria Antónia Azevedo

Maria Antónia Azevedo nasceu em Cesar, Oliveira de Azeméis, em 1960, e reside em São João da Madeira.
Tem uma Licenciatura em Educação de Infância e um Mestrado em Arte e Educação.
Durante 10 anos, frequentou o Centro de Arte de São João da Madeira, onde teve aulas de desenho, escultura e pintura. Participou em oficinas de desenho, ilustração e escrita criativa.
É autora e ilustradora de um romance Da liberdade ao rigor (2018) e de quatro livros para a infância: Da horta para a compostagem (2011); O voo da Joaninha (2014); O António quer bater-me (2016) e Um jantar de caracóis (2022).
