Maria Amélia Cruz

Doutorou-se em Estudos de Cultura pela Faculdade de Ciências Humanas da Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Licenciou-se em Filologia Germânica e obteve o grau de Mestre em Estudos Alemães pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa.
Foi docente do Ensino Secundário e integrou a equipa do GAVE — Gabinete de Avaliação Educacional do Ministério da Educação.
Desenvolve a actividade de tradutora técnica e literária e é investigadora do CECC – Centro de Estudos de Comunicação e Cultura, na linha de investigação Cultura, Tradução e Cognição.
