Maria Adelaide Godinho Arala Chaves

Maria Adelaide Godinho Arala Chaves, natural de Ovar, licenciou-se em Filosofia na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Tem vivido em Ovar, onde lecionou Língua Portuguesa, Estudos Sociais e História do 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Na continuidade de uma equiparação a bolseira do INIC entre 1978-1981, tem-se dedicado à investigação e levantamento etnográfico da região. Especialmente no âmbito da sua atividade docente, desenvolveu inúmeros projetos e ações de defesa do Ambiente e Património locais.
