Margarida Seixas nasceu a 22 de fevereiro de 1973, na cidade transmontana de Vila Real.
Licenciada em Engenharia Eletrotécnica e com um espírito científico apurado, tenta, com os seus textos, desenvolver o gosto pela descoberta, não esquecendo nunca o lado pedagógico e didático do próprio livro.
A sua escrita é pautada pelo bom humor e pelo espírito de aventura, tentando passar uma mensagem positiva de todas as experiências da vida.
