Margarida Piteira Baptista nasceu em Lisboa em 1972.
Licenciou-se em Ciências Farmacêuticas em 1990, terminou um MBA em 2003 e vive em Lisboa.
Trabalhou na Indústria Farmacêutica, fundou uma empresa na área da nutrição, e atualmente trabalha no setor de animação e turismo e frequenta a licenciatura em Filosofia.
Tem realizado diversas formações no âmbito da escrita criativa e escrita de romance, já escreveu vários ensaios, discursos, contos e cartas, não publicados e É esse silêncio que eu quero ouvir é o seu primeiro romance.
