Margarida Cunha Belém
Margarida Cunha Belém was born in Lisbon in 1967. With a degree in Painting from the School of Fine Arts, she has been part of several research and iconographic research projects for historical and commemorative editions, having collaborated, among other projects, in the historical study of the Church of Santo António de Lisboa and in the study of regional construction techniques. He also collaborated in the research and iconographic research of the collection of photobiographies edited by the Círculo de Leitores, coordinated by Joaquim Vieira, as well as in the respective graphic elaboration. He has published several articles on fine arts and architecture. In collaboration with the Henrique Cayatte studio, he did the iconographic research for the exhibition: 250 years of the municipality of Oeiras and produced ten biographies integrated in a book about the 250 personalities of the municipality.
She was curator of exhibitions and co-curator for the exhibition on the Portuguese World (1940 exhibition) which resulted in a catalogue published by the CCB (2014-2015). Since 1993, his artistic activity has had several solo and group exhibitions throughout the country, with works that combine different techniques, such as photography, drawing, collage and spelling.
