Manuel Puig

Manuel Puig nasceu na Argentina em 1932. Estudou Arquitectura em Buenos Aires e, a seguir, em Itália. O seu sonho era escrever guiões para televisão e cinema e várias das suas obras passaram efectivamente à tela, nomeadamente O beijo da Mulher Aranha.
O seu activismo político de esquerda fê-lo abandonar a Argentina e exilar-se no México. Morreu no exílio em 1990.
