Manuel Machado da Costa

Manuel Machado da Costa nasceu no Porto em meados dos já longínquos anos cinquenta do século passado.
Casado, pai extremoso e, tentando ocultar o facto de já ser avô, a sua vida tomou rumos muito afastados da escrita, embora sentisse, desde sempre, o "bichinho a roer-lhe". Mas foi só quando se aproximou da reforma e sentiu os cabelos a branquearem que reuniu coragem (e tempo!) para se meter nestes "assados" da escrita. Antes que as artroses lhe tolhessem as mãos...
Histórias à volta do Porto é o seu segundo livro. Em 2010 foi publicado o seu primeiro romance com o título O fio da meada.
