Manuel M. Cardoso Leal

Manuel M. Cardoso Leal é doutorado em História Contemporânea (2016) pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa e investigador integrado no Centro de História da mesma Universidade. Tem centrado a sua investigação na história portuguesa e internacional dos séculos XIX e XX, em especial nos campos político e institucional. Dedicou a sua tese de doutoramento ao sistema partidário português que protagonizou o chamado «rotativismo». Tem um livro publicado (2013) com a biografia política de José Luciano de Castro (1834-1914). É também licenciado em Economia (Universidade do Porto, 1966-1971) e pós-graduado em Integração Europeia (Amesterdão, 1972-1973).
