Manuel de Castro Caldas

Nascido em 1954 em Lisboa, Manuel Castro Caldas estudou pintura em Lisboa (E.S.B.A.L.) e em Nova Iorque (Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program), e possui um mestrado em História de Arte, pela New York University. Foi responsável pelas aqui sições da Colecção de Arte Contemporânea Portuguesa da Fundação Luso-Americana em Lisboa. Escreve sobre arte e comissaria exposições num regime eventual. Participa em conferências, seminários e colóquios na área da Crítica, História e Teoria de Arte. Desde 1994 é Director Executivo do Ar.Co - Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual, Lisboa, onde exerce actividade lectiva.
