Manuel Brás Venâncio

Manuel Brás Venâncio (n. 1936) nasceu em Alpedrinha, Castelo Branco; reside, porém, na cidade de Faro desde há várias décadas. Licenciado em História pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, realizou uma pós-graduação em Estudos Superiores Especializados em Arte, Arqueologia e Restauro (variante Arte) no Instituto Politécnico de Tomar, onde também completou o Curso Livre de Jornalismo. Animado de uma insaciável curiosidade intelectual, fez ainda estudos no Instituto Politécnico de Santarém e frequentou o biénio do Curso de Teologia no Seminário de Faro. Paralelamente à sua atividade profissional, dedicou-se à poesia, tendo vários dos seus poemas incluídos em antologias regionais e nacionais.
